Vercel and Next.js make for a perfect combination. I once tried using AWS Amplify, but the experience was not as smooth as with Vercel. There are many steps required to deploy a production-quality application with AWS Amplify. Additionally, I encountered issues where the local environment and production environment on AWS Amplify did not match. With Vercel, I can almost guarantee that the local and production environments are identical.
Lastly, I want to touch on the topic of pricing, which is quite controversial. Many people are upset about Vercel’s charge of $20 per seat. While it is expensive, I personally find it worth it because it saves me a significant amount of time on deployment, and I don’t need to hire a DevOps specialist. However, you might want to reconsider if you have developed your own framework for fast application deployment.
AWS S3
