STARA is Indonesia's first Inclusive Innovation Hub — an organization built on the belief that disabled professionals are not just beneficiaries of innovation, but its most powerful co-creators. Founded to dismantle systemic barriers in Indonesia's workforce, STARA operates across three interconnected business units:

• STASLE — an inclusive talent marketplace connecting organizations with skilled disabled professionals
• STASLE+ — a consulting arm helping companies embed genuine disability inclusion into their operations
• AKSERA — a co-creation lab where disabled professionals collaborate directly with brands and institutions to design better products and services

An organization with this kind of mission needed a digital presence that could match its ambition: clear, credible, and built to grow. When STARA came to Kugie, they needed more than a brochure site — they needed a foundation.

What We Built

We partnered with STARA to design and build their entire web presence from scratch, delivering a production-ready static site with a CMS for their growing content needs.

Website (Next.js Static Site) We built the site on Next.js with full static generation — fast, secure, and ready for global CDN delivery. Every page is pre-rendered at build time, keeping hosting costs low and performance scores high.

Design System with Custom Tailwind Tokens To reflect STARA's identity — inclusive, warm, professional — we created a custom design system built on Tailwind CSS with bespoke color tokens, typography scales, and component patterns. The system gives the STARA team a consistent visual language they can extend as the organization grows.

Blog & CMS STARA's team has a lot to say. We set them up with a blog powered by MDX, giving non-technical team members the ability to publish content without touching code. The system supports rich text, images, and structured metadata out of the box.

Pages Launched Homepage, About, Blog, and individual program pages for each business unit — all built with accessibility as a first-class concern, not an afterthought.
